Oh so adorable! Baby Jules came into the studio just shy of 4 weeks new. Photographing older newborns can be just as successful as photographing them up to 14 days new. Older newborns are usually more awake and alert during their sessions. When I was told baby Jules was a rainbow baby I knew I had to make this session more personal for mom.
* A rainbow baby is a baby born shortly after the loss of a previous baby due to miscarriage, still birth, or death in infancy. This term is given to these special rainbow babies because a rainbow typically follows a storm, giving us hope of what’s to come.*
